| The Highgrove mattress comprises up to 1824 pocket sprung units per bed which are lavishly upholstered with deep layers of mohair, latex, cotton, pure
silk, pure lambswool and white cattle hair. The mattress borders are finished with three rows of our unique hand stitching, increasing
the life of the bed. The fillings are kept securely in place with woollen tufts. Inside, the mattress springs are encased by individual 'calico'
pockets, hand formed into a honeycomb nested unit. The mattress comes in options of soft, medium and firm. It has eight handles and vents for breathability. The bed is
covered with a sumptuous damask cover and the base benefits from a tailored 'divan skirt'. The bed is finished off with gold shepherd castors. |
